PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING
FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PIERCE LANE

The Village of Godfrey will hold a Public Informational Meeting concerning the proposed improvement of Pierce Lane from Stamper Lane to Airport Road in the Village of Godfrey. The public informational meeting will be held at the Godfrey Village Hall, located at 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, IL on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. All persons interested in this project are invited to attend this meeting.
This is a federally funded project, and the public Information Meeting is being held in
compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements and the Illinois
Department of Transportation’s public involvement policy.
The meeting will use an open house format. There will be no formal presentation. Representatives of Village’s consulting engineering firm will be available to answer individual questions and take written comments offered by those in attendance. Verbatim comments will not be recorded. Project representatives will address topics such as the design details, right-of-way acquisition, and the tentative construction schedule. Preliminary reports, including environmental documents and preliminary plans, will be available for inspection and viewing during the entire time. The same material will be available for review and inspection at the Godfrey Village Hall from August 23 through August 25, 2023, during regular business hours from 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
The meeting room is accessible to persons with a disability. Disabled persons planning to attend this meeting who need special accommodations should notify the contact person by August 17.
