NOTICE OF LOCALIZED BOIL ORDER – From Illinois American Water: Illinois American Water crews will be performing a valve replacement in Godfrey. Weather permitting the project will start on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, around 8:00 a.m. and will be completed by approximately 3:00 p.m. on the same day. Those residents in the affected area may experience a service interruption or low water pressure. Repairs/improvements are expected to take seven (7) hours to complete. At this time residents on Lakeside Drive, Englewood Drive, Pine Ridge Drive, Cottonwood Drive and Elmwood Drive are under a Boil Water Order.
Any water to be used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for five (5) minutes. Water is OK for bathing, washing, and other common uses.
