CodeRED will be replaced by Everbridge – Click here to see why

Everbridge is the mass notification system that Madison County uses to keep citizens informed of emergencies such as severe weather alerts, evacuation notices, boil orders, active threats and more. The local number you will receive alerts from is 618-296-3500.

All of those residents who were previously signed up for CodeRED weather alerts were transferred over to the new system and will now receive weather alerts from Everbridge.

Residents may have received a severe weather warning alert from Everbridge on Monday 5/3/26, which came from an inaccurate number that Everbridge presented in error.   The correct number you will receive Everbridge alerts from now on will be: 618-296-3500.
