Village of Godfrey Recycle Coach
The Village of Godfrey is introducing the Recycle Coach application program. The Illinois EPA, Recycle Coach, Madison County and the Village of Godfrey are proud to launch digital technology for waste and recycling state-wide. This extended partnership gives every community access to digital tools to help empower residents to find hyper-local information fast and efficiently. The Village of Godfrey has just started the initial process of the program. Since the Village does not have the control of the operation of the garbage pickup schedules and other recycling items most information at this time, like calendar and educational resources will be tied to Madison County events, “What Goes Where” search tool and educational resources. The hope is that this program can be finely tune to serve the Village of Godfrey community better in the future. Recycle Coach is just not about Recycling it deals with disposal and collection instructions, the reuse options for all waste streams and education and marketing support.
