All residents are required to obtain their own waste hauling and recycling service. A list of licensed haulers may be obtained on the home page of this website under “Residents – Utilities/Services“. Recycling bins also are available in the Clerk’s office.

2. What department handles storm drainage and street repair?
All questions pertaining to street and storm drainage within the Village may be answered by the Department of Streets and Ways, 618-466-3133.

3. What department handles all Village sanitary sewer problems?
The Village of Godfrey sold the Public Sanitary Sewer System to Illinois American Water.  Private Sanitary Sewer system regulations are under Madison County.
