NOTICE – ELECTION FILING
Notice is hereby given that the office of the Village Clerk of the Village of Godfrey, 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, Illinois has petitions available beginning August 25, 2026 and circulation of petitions may begin immediately, for the upcoming Consolidated Election to be held April 6, 2027, for the following offices:
Village Officials
Three (3) Trustees – 4 year term
Candidate petitions or certificates of nomination for the Consolidated Election may be filed beginning November 16, 2026 – November 20, 2026, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The last day to accept is Monday, November 23, 2026 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the Clerk’s office, 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, Illinois.
Should a simultaneous filing lottery or lotteries be necessary, the lotteries will be scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. for the upcoming Consolidated Election to be held April 6, 2027.
