    Request For Proposals – Godfrey Road Drainage Replacement Project (Click Here)
    The Village of Godfrey (Village) seeks proposals to replace deteriorated stormwater pipes and structures near 3041 Godfrey Road.  Proposal Due: 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2024.  Project Background and Description: A recent collapse of a commercial entrance on the east side of Godfrey Road led to the discovery of a failed stormwater structure as well as deteriorated corrugated metal pipes.  Based upon an inspection of the existing infrastructure, both the Village of Godfrey and Illinois Department of Transportation believe the remaining structures and pipes are in a similar condition and need to be replaced.  The scope of work involved with the project is detailed in the Request for Proposals plans and involves the removal of existing constructed-in-place stormwater structures and corrugated metal pipe.  New precast concrete inlets and reinforced concrete pipe will be installed in its place.  A portion of two (2) concrete commercial entrances will require replacement as well.
  • Storeyland Drive Culvert Replacement Project – Invitation for Bids:  Bids will be received by the Village Clerk until 10:00 AM Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the Godfrey Village Hall, 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, Illinois 62035, and will thereafter be publicly read aloud.  The scope of work for this project involves the removal and replacement of a pipe culvert, pavement replacement, curb and gutter replacement, and other related work as further described in the Project Manual.  Bid Documents will be available at the Village Clerk’s office located at 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, Illinois 62035.  Prospective bidders may examine and obtain the bidding documents on weekdays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm.  Questions regarding acquiring the Bidding Documents should be directed to:  Susan Robbins, Village Clerk at (618) 466-3381 or [email protected].  Questions regarding technical aspects of this project should be directed to: Rich Beran, P.E., Village Engineer, at (618) 466-4319 or [email protected].  Click here to see complete Invitation for Bids
